JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Players from Missouri and Virginia met Friday with children from Dreams Come True ahead of Saturday’s TaxSlayer Gator Bowl at EverBank Stadium.
The children were part of the nonprofit’s Dream Team, which consists of 11 Dreamers, ages 8-17, representing the Northeast Florida community.

Dreamers are local youth who are battling life-threatening illnesses.
Among those to meet the players on Friday was Landon Cartwright, who enjoyed a special moment with the Mizzou Tigers mascot.
“I’m going on the field, and I’m going to do some dance moves,” Cartwright said excitedly. “I’m very happy!”
