Louisville is bringing home yet another win after the Cardinals managed to hold off the No. 2 Miami Hurricanes on the road Friday night, winning their matchup 24-21.Miller Moss threw two touchdown passes, both to Chris Bell, as the Cardinals improved to 5-1 on the season (2-1 ACC).Bell finished with more than 130 receiving yards.Louisville led 17-13 heading into the fourth quarter before extending the lead on a 36-yard touchdown from Moss to Bell, making it 24-13.Miami closed the gap midway through the quarter when Malachi Toney scored a touchdown.Toney then connected with CJ Daniels for a two-point conversion to pull within three points. Fortunately, the Cards were able to seal the deal with thirty seconds to go in the fourth quarter.Miami quarterback Carson Beck tried to pass the ball and had the pass intercepted by Louisville linebacker T.J. Capers.Beck finished the night with a total of four interceptions.Heading into Friday’s matchup, the Hurricanes were a 13.5-point favorite over the Cardinals.The only other time the Cards have defeated the No. 2 team in the country is when they took on Florida State in 2016. The final score of that game was 63-20.Next weekend, the Cards will be back at home as they take on Boston College.Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
