SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The holidays are a special time of year for the family, and a unique way to have some family-friendly fun this season is coming to Tampa on Saturday night.
WWE Live returns to Benchmark International Arena Saturday evening, and it’s bringing several big-name superstars to entertain the crowd, including Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
A live event differs from premium live events like the Royal Rumble that came to Tampa in early 2024. It tends to be more interactive, and with the holiday season here, there should be plenty of holiday cheer to spread around.
“Getting the opportunity to interact with the crowd a lot more in regards of, especially like the front row, or even if there is crowd participation, we’re able to play with the crowd a little bit more,” WWE superstar Michin told ABC7 Sports.
“So to us, it’s the opportunity to get to know you guys, as well as you guys get to play with us,” she added.
Southwest Florida is a popular area for performers like Michin and her colleagues in the WWE. Several performers live in the region, and Orlando is a major center for the company with its Performance Center based in nearby Winter Park.

“Aside from the fact that it’s not snowing during this time of year is a favorite of mine,” Michin said.
“You know the PC is rooted in Orlando. So it’s pretty much like doing a live event at home,” she added.
And while you have options for entertainment this holiday season, this might be an opportunity you won’t want to pass up.
“You get to do something different in regards of wrestling,” Michin said.
“So instead of going to Disney or Universal, you know, I wanna go see WWE. We have a lineup all throughout Florida this week. This is the perfect opportunity for the family, so I think just being in Florida, it’s a dream,” she added.
An opportunity to let loose and enjoy some family-friendly fun.
“Listen, you guys have spent time with the family for Christmas,” Michin said.
“You guys are on vacation. You don’t have to, well I don’t know about everybody, but you don’t have to go to work until the following week. Why not just come and see some jolly violence?”
Tickets are still available for the event at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa. The action is set to start at 7:30 p.m.
