COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State and Miami will play in the Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Eve in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal, with a trip to the Fiesta Bowl on the line.

The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Eastern and 6:30 local time at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

ESPN will be the broadcast network for the game, with Dave Pasch on play-by-play with Dusty Dvoracek and Quint Kessenich providing analysis.

Ohio State is a 9.5-point favorite over Miami. If the Buckeyes beat the Hurricanes, Ohio State will face off against the winner of Georgia/Ole Miss on Jan. 8.

The Buckeyes are coming off a loss to Indiana in the Big Ten Championship Game in early December and enter the postseason at 12-1. It will be their third-straight season that has included a postseason game in the Cotton Bowl.
