TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After unseasonably warm weather this weekend, Old Man Winter is eyeing a return to the region.
Sunday Forecast
It is another foggy start to the day across the Big Bend and South Georgia. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m., so be sure to use caution on the road.
Clouds will linger for much of the morning, but we should see a few more breaks in the clouds after lunchtime. For most of us, highs climb into the mid-70s under a partly sunny sky.
A stray sprinkle is possible on Sunday, but most of us will remain dry to end the weekend.
We stay mild and a little foggy for Sunday night. Lows bottom out in the upper-50s and low-60s under a partly cloudy sky.
Tracking A Cold Front
Our next weather system will move across the area on Monday. A cold front will bring spotty showers during the morning and afternoon, but rain totals will remain light.
Temperatures top out in the low-to-mid-70s ahead of the front, but we quickly fall behind the front as cooler air rushes into the region.
Overnight lows tumble into the low-and-mid-30s for Monday night under a clearing sky.
Extended Forecast
We are ending 2025 on a chilly note.
Tuesday will be dry, cold and a little breezy. Highs hover in the upper-40s and low-50s under some sunshine. Lows tumble into the mid-and-upper-20s. Be sure to protect your people, pets, plants and pipes.
New Year’s Eve is looking dry and mostly sunny. Highs hover in the mid-50s, with lows in the low-30s.
