TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Our stretch of warm weather is coming to a close as a cold front marches across the region on Monday.
Tonight Through Monday Night
Quiet weather will continue across the region to end the weekend. We are dry under a partly cloudy sky for Sunday night. Lows only fall into the upper-50s and low-60s. Again, some dense fog is possible.
On Monday, all eyes are on a cold front. This weather system will bring scattered showers to the Big Bend and South Georgia during the morning and early afternoon. Rain totals will remain light with this system, but go ahead and pack the umbrella as you walk out the door Monday morning.
Temperatures top out in the upper-60s and low-70s under a partly sunny sky ahead of the cold front. However, temperatures gradually fall behind the front as a gusty wind returns.
We are dry, cold and breezy for Monday night under a clearing sky. Lows tumble into the low-and-mid-30s. The wind chill could dip into the mid-and-upper-20s at times.
Ending 2025
We are ending 2025 on a dry, chilly note.
Highs on Tuesday only reach the upper-40s and low-50s under some sunshine. Again, winds are breezy on Tuesday. Overnight lows settle in the mid-and-upper-20s. Be sure to protect your people, pets, plants and pipes.
New Year’s Eve is looking dry, sunny and cool. Temperatures hover in the mid-50s during the afternoon, and lows fall into the upper-20s and low-30s during the overnight. Bundle up for those outdoor plans.
New Year’s Day & Beyond
After some cold weather to kick off your New Year’s Day, we are tracking a nice rebound. Highs on Thursday climb into the mid-60s under a sunny sky. Lows dip into the upper-30s.
Looking ahead, we could see another weather system and more spotty showers for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures hover in the upper-60s to low-70s under a mostly cloudy sky. Lows stay in the low-to-mid-50s.
