GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – On Monday, state leaders are considering who should replace the Florida Supreme Court justice, who’s moving to the swamp.
Justice Charles Canady retired to lead UF’s Hamilton School. Ten people are being interviewed on Monday including several UF law school grads. The interviews are set for 8:30 a.m.
On Tuesday, four Marion County Fire Rescue employees, accused of waterboarding a fellow firefighter, will be in court. Investigators say they did it because the victim refused to show the crew a TikTok video on his phone.

They face charges including battery, kidnapping, and robbery. Last week, fire rescue officials say six additional employees were fired
