All interested artists meet each Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at different locations around Pine Island and Matlacha. If you would like to join the Pine Island Sketchers for fun and to meet fellow artists, bring your media of choice and a chair.
There’s no charge and beginners are most welcome
• Jan. 6 — Marina Garden, 7731 Bocilla Lane, #13, Bokeelia (Marilyn Hedlund is our host). North on Stringfellow to Bocilla Lane, turn right, look for Marina Garden sign on right. Park along edge of driveway at the end (not on the grass).
• Jan. 13 — Marty Kendall residence, 3331 Franzone Road, St. James City. Park across the street from Calusa Land Trust.
• Jan. 20 — Micheli’s Restaurant, 3930 Pine Island Road, Matlacha. We will meet on the outdoor deck.
• Jan. 27 — A LEED STUDIO, 14271 Stringfellow, Bokeelia. Drive north on Stringfellow Road from The Center. “The Betty Bokeelia” is turquoise, located near the corner of Pomegranate and Stringfellow on the left.
