According to Miami Beach Police, on Saturday, an officer met the victim, who said her fiancé had been attacked by a man.

An arrest report said that officers saw surveillance video, which showed two men and the victim’s fiancé on the sidewalk of the 900 block of Ocean Drive near the Breakwater.

The surveillance video then shows Innocent punching the victim’s fiancé, which caused him to collapse on the floor, the report said.

The victim’s fiancé was taken to the hospital and suffered a head laceration.

During an interview with police, the victim explained that she and her fiancé were at the Voodoo Nightclub and Rooftop Lounge, and when they left, they saw Innocent and the other person, the report said.

After Innocent punched the victim’s fiancé, the report said, he told her to go with him because she was a witness to a murder.

Innocent then led the victim to a rooftop area and told her that she needed to perform sexual acts on him or he would kill her, but he didn’t show her a gun, the report said.

As the victim engaged in sexual acts with Innocent, she injured him and was able to get away and met up with the officer, the report said. She was then taken to the hospital for treatment.

At the hospital, she told officers that she thought her fiancé had been killed after he was unresponsive.

During their investigation, officers reviewed security footage and saw the victim with Innocent entering the building and the victim saying “You’re going to kill me,” while Innocent was heard saying “I’m not, shut up. You’re going to listen, right?”

Some time after they both entered the building, the victim was seen running out of it with her dress lifted, the report said.

A day after the incident, police found Innocent, and he was arrested.

The report said that he had an active bench warrant from August for driving while having a suspended license.

Records showed that Innocent was on probation until May 5, 2026, for charges of grand theft and eluding police in Broward County.
