LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting reported early Sunday in Lehigh Acres that left one person injured.

Deputies were called around 3 a.m. to the 600 block of Jackson Avenue, where they found a victim who had been shot. The person’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, authorities said.

Investigators later identified a second, related location in the 200 block of Joel Boulevard, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

The agency’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Both locations remained active scenes as detectives continued collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
