  • December 30, 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a very warm Christmas across the Sunshine State, Florida is in for a rude awakening.

A strong cold front will move through Central Florida early Tuesday morning bringing with it a good chunk of cold air.

By the time you wake up Tuesday morning most of Central Florida will be in the 40s.

Tuesday morning

With afternoon clouds at times Tuesday, highs will struggle to climb out of the 50s.

The coldest morning of this latest round of cold comes Wednesday.

Wednesday morning

Areas northwest of I-4 will have the opportunity to observe a freeze, dropping to 32 degrees or colder.

Frost will be possible across all of Central Florida west of I-95.

If you have sensitive plants, you’ll want to cover them starting Tuesday night.

It will remain cold New Year’s Eve.
