TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A breezy, cold night is on tap across North Florida and South Georgia.
Tonight Through Tuesday Night
We are dry for Monday night under a clearing sky. Lows bottom out in the low-to-mid-30s. A breezy wind will continue for the overnight. The wind could gust up to 15 mph at times.
Because of the gusty wind and the cold air, we could see wind chills in the mid-20s by Tuesday morning. As a result, a Cold Weather Advisory is in place for most of us from 3 a.m. through 10 a.m.
Dry weather will continue for Tuesday under a partly cloudy sky. Highs stay chilly. We only top out in the upper-40s and low-50s. Again, we are breezy. Winds could gust up to 15-20 mph at times.
The wind starts to calm down for Tuesday night. Because of the calm wind and the clear sky, lows are going to tumble. We bottom out in the mid-and-upper-20s by Wednesday morning. Be sure to protect your people, pets and plants.
Holiday Forecast
Mother Nature looks to cooperate with our holiday plans.
We are dry and sunny on New Year’s Eve. Highs hover in the mid-50s. Lows fall into the upper-20s and low-30s. Be sure to bundle up for those outdoor plans.
After cold weather to kick off New Year’s Day, the forecast is looking pretty good for the first day of 2026. Temperatures top out in the mid-60s under a sunny sky. Lows dip into the upper-30s and low-40s.
Extended Forecast
Our warming trend will continue to end the work week. Highs on Friday climb into the upper-60s under a partly sunny sky. An isolated shower is possible, but the rain chance is not widespread. Overnight lows remain in the mid-50s.
Looking ahead, we should see better rain chances on Saturday. Scattered showers are looking possible to start the weekend. Highs hover in the low-70s under a partly sunny sky. Lows fall into the low-50s.
