Freeze Warning and Cold Weather Advisory begin at 1 a.m. Wednesday
Forecast Feels Like
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The low temperature today is expected to be 38 degrees, and the highest temperature so far is 49. Fun fact: the swing from Monday’s high of 80 degrees and Tuesday’s low is 42 degrees is the 13th largest temperature change in less than 24 hours for the month of December, according to the National Weather Service Jacksonville.
Today, cloud coverage and lack of sunshine are keeping temperatures lower than expected. Add in a northwesterly wind, and it’s downright chilly!
Clearing skies over the next several hours will allow the cold air to sink overnight and wind chill factors in the 20s with blustery winds from the northwest.

Freeze Warning – 1 a.m. – 9 a.m. Wednesday morning for all SE GA and inland portions of NE FL north of I-10 with temps expected in the mid-20s.
