Humane Society of Broward County seeks ‘furever’ home for Lacy, other furry friends The Humane Society of Broward County is seeking a forever home for Lacy and other furry friends.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A playful 13-week-old puppy named Lacey is looking for a forever home, along with many other cats and dogs at the Humane Society of Broward County.

Matthew Seligman of the Humane Society told Local 10 News on Saturday that the shelter has been inundated with puppies from across the county.

Lacey, a Labrador-American Bulldog mix, is expected to weigh 50 to 55 pounds when fully grown.

“She really would make such a great companion,” Seligman said, describing Lacey as playful and calm.

He noted that the shelter also has many adult cats and kittens available for adoption.

Those interested in adopting Lacey or other animals can fill out a pre-adoption application on the shelter’s website at humanebroward.com or visit the shelter in person.
