There is growing speculation that Sprinkles Cupcakes will close at Disney Springs, with today appearing to be the final day of operations.
Sprinkles Cupcakes has not made a public statement, and Disney Springs has not shared any update either. Still, several signals point to a late-stage decision that would see business operations wind down effective December 31, 2025.
Adding to the speculation, internal memos have surfaced online that appear to confirm the closure. At this time, those documents have not been independently verified.
According to multiple reports, the closure would not be limited to Disney Springs. Other Sprinkles locations across the country are also expected to cease operations as part of the same shutdown.
One of the strongest indicators comes from Sprinkles’ own ordering system. The company’s website is not listing any pickup times beyond December 31, suggesting operations are not planned to continue into the new year.
If confirmed, this would mark the end of Sprinkles’ long-running presence at Disney Springs since 2016, where the bakery has been known for cupcakes, cookies, and its cupcake ATM.
