Following a string of break-ins at smoke shops in Broward County, a store in Fort Lauderdale was robbed a second time.
The smash-and-grab happened Friday night at Snoopy’s Smoke Shop.
Surveillance video from inside the store captured the aftermath of the break-in that happened at around 4 a.m.
The owner of the shop is searching for answers.
“We had a break-in again, this is the second time in a week,” the owner said. “It’s horrible, you know, us, like business owners who are trying to make our family living and they just keep on doing this.
The suspects are still on the loose.
Snoopy’s Smoke Shop was previously broken into on Monday after someone threw a rock through the front door glass, and the alarm went
Seconds later, someone puts their hand through the shattered glass, unlocks the door, and three people walk inside. One of them is heard saying, “There’s an alarm.”
It’s the third time this week thieves have targeted a smoke or vape shop in Broward County. Police are searching for the people who broke into two businesses in Margate.
Police have not said if these are the same people breaking into these businesses or if they’re connected.
