Police in Hialeah are searching for a man and woman who may have been involved in a possible abduction.

Officers responded to the area of West 27th Avenue and 52nd Street around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday after a concerned citizen contacted 911 saying she may have witnessed a possible abduction, Hialeah Police officials said.

Detectives obtained surveillance images that captured the incident and corroborated the witness’s account.

The images showed a man in all black clothing next to a white Ford F-150, and the woman wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki sweatpants.

Detectives believe it wasn’t a random act and that the man and woman may be known to one another.

Police said no missing persons reports have been filed, which is presenting a challenge to the investigation.

“Our primary concern is the immediate well-being of the female involved. Our detectives are working diligently to locate her as quickly as possible to verify her safety,” police said in a statement.
