PORT ST. LUCIE — HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is excited to announce the arrival of the first babies born in 2026 on the Treasure Coast.
Four babies were born this morning at the hospital, including Santiago at 8:31 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce at birth and was 19 ¾ inches long. Santiago and his family from Okeechobee are doing well.
“We are honored to share in these families’ special moments and proud to provide exceptional care for mothers and babies,” said Corey Lovelace, chief executive officer of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. “We wish them and everyone a healthy and happy new year.”
