Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently appoitned four members to the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority.

Republican Governor DeSantis announced the appointment of Bennett Barrow, Vincent Cassidy, Lakshmikanth “LK” Nandam, and Cody Powell to the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority.

Bennett Barrow is the Chief Executive Officer of RareGuru. Active in his community, he is the Vice Chairman of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and previously served as the Chairman of the Berkeley Preparatory School Board of Trustees Finance Committee. Barrow earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish and economics from the University of the South.

Vincent Cassidy is the Chief Executive Officer of Majesty Title Services. Active in his community, he previously served as the President of the Florida Land Title Association Board of Directors and was a founding board member for GulfShore Bank. Cassidy earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York.

Lakshmikanth “LK” Nandam is a Senior Vice President and Florida State and Local Market Sector Leader at GFT. Previously, he served as a District Secretary and the Director of Transportation Operations for the Florida Department of Transportation. Active in his community, Nandam previously served as a member of the Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Cody Powell is the Owner and Broker of Powell Realty. Active in his community, he is a member of the Suncoast Tampa Realtors and was previously appointed to the Hillsborough County Planning Commission. Powell earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of North Florida.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
