BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will host Miami Dade College in the Citrus Conference home opener Wednesday night at Titan Field House.

The Titans are 11-4 overall and 0-1 in the conference after Saturday’s loss to No. 9 Daytona State College. It will be the first Alumni Friends and Fans night sponsored by Community Credit Union and there will be contests and giveaways during halftime.

Eastern Florida State College freshman Sean Register Jr. is leading the FCSAA in scoring and is fourth in the nation, averaging 24.0 points per game. Had 27 points and 12 rebounds against Daytona State College.

Teammate Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo comes into Wednesday’s game averaging 12.5 points and has scored at least nine points in each of the past seven games.

Miami Dade College is 10-5 overall and 1-0 in the conference heading into the matchup with the Titans. The Sharks are led by the duo of Anthony Breland and David Verstraeten who are both averaging over 15 points per game.

Breland leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game while Verstraeten is averaging 15.4 points.

Wednesday night’s game will tip off around 7:30 p.m. after the women’s game and admission is free to Titan Field House. Fans can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
