A woman is facing charges after police said she shot a man during an argument at a bus stop in Fort Lauderdale.
Shallante Christina Gardner, 34, was arrested on charges including aggravated battery, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and grand theft of a firearm, Broward jail records showed.

Fort Lauderdale Police said the incident happened around 9:50 a.m. on Monday at a bus bench in the 900 block of Northwest 7th Avenue.
Gardner and the man were at the stop when a verbal argument ensued and Gardner shot the man, police said.
Police said Gardner fled on foot but was taken into custody nearby and was in possession of a gun.
The victim was taken to Broward General Medical Center but was expected to survive, police said Tuesday.
Gardner was booked into jail and was being held without bond, records showed.
