Jacqueline “Jackie” Moore, 68, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Green Cove Springs, Florida. She was born on March 2, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent more than 50 years as a devoted resident of Green Cove Springs, a place she proudly called home.
Jackie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and cherished “Aunt Jackie” to so many. Her life was deeply rooted in faith, love, and service to others. A faithful member of Green Cove Springs CH Church for more than 40 years, Jackie lived her life guided by her strong belief in God, always leading with compassion and grace.
Her entire life was devoted to caring for her family, friends, and the Clay County community. Jackie helped raise brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, supported families and friends in times of need, and consistently put others before herself. She was known for her kind soul, generous heart, and the unmistakable light in her eyes that could brighten any room she entered.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Francis Hawkins; stepfather, Eugene Hawkins; and father, Jack Hinkle.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Leon Moore; sons, Walt Hawkins and Leon Moore; daughter-in-law, Lisa Moore; granddaughter, Alexis Moore; grandson Francisco Arguello; daughter, Haley Moore; and granddaughter Everleigh Smith. Her legacy of faith, love, and selflessness will live on through them and the countless lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life honoring this incredible woman will be held on January 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Green Cove Springs CH Church, located at 2079 FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
Jackie will be remembered for a life well lived; one defined by unwavering faith, boundless love, and a heart always open to others.
