Good morning, Central Florida. Here’s what you need to know today.
After areas of dense morning fog dissipate, sunshine will be on hand for the afternoon as temperatures stay mild, in the upper 70s to near 80. High pressure anchored across the Gulf will supply more of this type of weather through the end of the week as we keep things rain-free for the time being.
Some changes await in the weekend forecast as a weak front slides in from the northwest, introducing more clouds by Sunday along with isolated showers. While the rain coverage will be limited, it will be noticeable when the front passes as temperatures cool down into next week; after highs around 80 this weekend, cooler 60s will resume on Monday.
