The City of Cape Coral has advised drivers of temporary closures ahead of the 2026 Cape Coral Art Festival this weekend.
Cape Coral Parkway will be closed from Del Prado Boulevard to Coronado Parkway beginning on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and will remain closed until approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday.
During this time, through traffic will be detoured to nearby north–south and east–west corridors, and drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
The 41st annual Cape Coral Art Festival is organized by the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, with the city serving as a supporting partner for traffic management and public safety.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, follow posted detour signage, and use designated parking areas in the surrounding neighborhood.
