Captain Duval with Jacksonville Jaguars fans outside Wembley in October 2025

I bumped into UK-based superfan Captain Duval with a few other Jags fans outside the stadium. He came prepared, with a jaguar print poncho, and although the rain could make it tricky for receivers like Travis Hunter today, Captain Duval reckons we could see the star rookie make an impact on defence instead.

“Just put him on as a cornerback and [the rain] will work to his advantage,” he said. “I was nervous at the start of the season when he said he was going to play both ways because I thought ‘he’s just going to get injured’, but the more the weeks go on, the more entertaining and exciting he’s becoming. And he seems such a nice guy too.”

Captain Duval added: “The game’s going to be close. I think what’s going to decide it is a turnover or a field goal, especially in this weather.

“I’m a bit nervous about it after last week’s game, but I’m confident that they would have had a word and worked some stuff out, especially Cam [Little, Jags kicker]. Missing four points, that’s unheard of for him. We’re not used to that.”
