ORLANDO, Fla. – Anthony Black served up an assist off the court Thursday, matching a $5,000 donation from Planet Fitness to the Orlando Boys & Girls Club.
The Orlando Magic guard was on hand to present the $10,000 check.
“The community puts a lot into [the Magic],” Black said. “I think it’s just part of our responsibility to do the same back and support the people that support us.”
Black, a Texas native, said he’s done similar work with boys and girls clubs in Dallas. He was ready to partner with Planet Fitness and give back to the Orlando Boys & Girls Club.
“It’s just good now to have a community and just be giving back, trying to make an impact on and off the court,” Black added.
