Katy Perry is making co-parenting look easy. Despite splitting with her long-term partner Orlando Bloom in July, the “Teenage Dream” star spent time with her daughter Daisy’s dad over the holidays, and new photos show just how well they are handling co-parenting together.
“Holidaze ♥️” Perry captioned a post on Instagram Wednesday, showing a highlight reel of the holiday season. This include several snaps of the family’s Elf on the Shelf (including a very relatable picture of a phone alarm reminder to move the elf!) and other holiday activities. In one picture, Daisy is at a Christmas tree farm, as Bloom follows behind carrying a live tree on his shoulder. In a video, Bloom and Perry each hold one of their daughter’s hands as they ice skate together, catching her when she starts to fall.

There are other pictures of Daisy decorating her mom’s face with gems, a picture of Perry and Daisy making a beaded Christmas ornament together, and several snaps at the end of Perry at the beach with boyfriend Justin Trudeau. It’s clear she’s living her best life, including both her ex and her current boyfriend in the same post — that’s co-parenting goals!
The comments praised the pop star. “our queen enjoying life 😍😍❤️ thats beautiful,” one person wrote. Another said, “We love you so much and so happpy for youuu🧡🧡🧡🌼”
Last month, Perry and Bloom were pictured in a cast photo from Paddington: The Musical in London, which they saw with Daisy and Bloom’s son Flynn, 14, who he shares with ex Miranda Kerr. It’s clear the “Bandaid” singer and the Pirates of the Caribbean star are more than just on good terms after their breakup — they’re actually spending time together with their daughter to prioritize her well-being above all else.
A source told PEOPLE last month that Perry and Bloom are “always gonna be family and put their daughter first.”
“They’re both super committed to keeping this family dynamic,” the source continued, adding that it’s “all amicable and pretty easy.”
It’s no surprise that Bloom’s on good terms with Perry, as he is also on good terms with Kerr. In an interview with TODAY in October, Kerr shared the secret to their co-parenting success. “I feel like just having love and respect for each other is so important,” Kerr said. “And everyone’s human, and I think that’s important to really put the children first and what’s the best needs of the children and how do we make everyone feel accepted and loved.”
“At the end of the day we’re all human and we’re all trying to be the best versions of ourselves,” she added. “Why not be good examples for our children?” We couldn’t agree more.
