The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have another new offensive coordinator in 2026. Todd Bowles and the Bucs fired Josh Grizzard on Thursday, moving on from him after just one season.

Grizzard replaced Liam Coen as Bowles’ offensive coordinator last offseason after the Jaguars hired Coen to be their new head coach. Tampa Bay finished the season ranked 18th in points scored and 21st in total yards.

The Buccaneers lost four of their last five games and seven of their last nine after starting the year 6-2, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Bowles is returning as the head coach in 2026, which he confirmed on Wednesday, but Baker Mayfield will have yet another new OC next season. He’ll also have a new quarterbacks coach as Thad Lewis has been fired by the Buccaneers, too.

Lewis was Mayfield’s quarterbacks coach for the last three years in Tampa. The Buccaneers have had a different offensive coordinator in each of the last five years, so change is not unfamiliar for Mayfield.
