Lee Health opened a new walk-in clinic on Jan. 5, 2026, in South Cape Coral. The facility at 507 Cape Coral Parkway E. will handle minor medical problems without patients needing an ER visit.

Patients can get help with cuts, sprains, cold symptoms, flu symptoms, eye infections, and ear infections. X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs are also available.

Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday morning to mark the opening, which took place in a former family medicine office near Coronado Parkway, across from Four Freedoms Park.

Health system leaders explained that this new site will help meet the growing need for medical services throughout Cape Coral and nearby areas, with doctors and staff ready to assist patients who walk through the doors.

Residents who live near the new clinic shared their thoughts. “I think it’s wonderful. You know, the drive will be short. We have people visiting us. And as we get older, there’s needs that we’re going to need. So I think it’s great,” one resident said, according to Gulf Coast News.

This center aims to keep patients with non-urgent conditions out of emergency rooms, which becomes critical during peak season when many people seek emergency care for issues that clinics can handle just as well.

The clinic is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Patients can get help outside of typical office hours without heading to a hospital.
