Hundreds of protesters marched down one of Minneapolis’ major thoroughfares over the death of a 37-year-old woman, allegedly by an ICE officer

Mother of three Renee Good was shot in the head. Federal officials say an immigration officer acted in self-defense when he shot through the window of a car, killing Good. Ben Thomas reports from the march in Minnesota.

Governor Ron DeSantis wants the Florida Supreme Court — and not the American Bar Association – as the main accreditor of law schools in Florida.

DeSantis called the American Bar Association a, quote, “partisan left activist organization.” The American Bar Association says it is a nonpartisan organization. In July, DeSantis launched a new accreditor for higher ed institutions in the state. It still needs to be approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

The US Senate is advancing a resolution that would limit future military action in Venezuela

Sagar Meghani reports that the Senate has moved ahead with a resolution that would limit President Trump‘s ability to conduct more attacks against Venezuela.

The space agency said yesterday the U.S.-Japanese-Russian crew of four will return to Earth earlier than planned. NASA did not identify the astronaut or the medical issue, citing patient privacy. The crew member is now stable.
