Dominating every statistical category in the game, the No. 2 Keiser Seahawks defeated the No. 8-ranked St. Thomas Bobcats, 35-14, on Saturday evening.

Using 517 yards of total offense, the Seahawks improved to 8-0 all-time versus the Bobcats led by quarterback Shea Spencer, who tossed for 329 yards and two touchdowns. It’s the second highest passing total and just the third time the native of Vero Beach, Florida, threw for over 300 yards in a game. Spencer’s top targets were Elisha Edwards and Dallas Desouza. Edwards ended the night with eight catches for career-high 120 yards. Desouza had nine catches for 98 yards and one touchdown.

On the ground the Seahawks rushed for 188 yards, including 118 by running back Jaden Miller, who round the endzone twice. Also producing a rushing touchdown was Dillon Simon (seven carries for 27 yards).

On the defensive side of the ball, Keiser held the Bobcats to 190 yards of total offense – the lowest total STU produced this season and the first time the Bobcats were held to 200 yards of total offense in their program’s history. Anchoring the defense was Kedrick Burley, who had five tackles, including one sack. Also taking down STU quarterback Keely Watson was Tai Lologo, who recorded his first sack of the season.

With the win, Keiser improved to 6-0 on the year, extending Seahawk’s winning streak in Sun Conference action to 22 straight.

The KU wideout scored on 46-yard strike from Spencer in the second quarter
Ben Hayes caught his second touchdown pass in as many games, converting a three-yard pass from Spencer in the third quarter
The Keiser defense held the Bobcats to 190 yards of total offense
It was the first time in program history that STU was held to under 200 yards in a single game
