It’s that time of year again for the 2026 Montreux Jazz Festival, where lovers of the genre get to unite and enjoy some of the biggest stars accompanied by rising performers at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour.
Now in its third year, the Miami edition of the legendary Switzerland festival kicks off on February 27 to March 1, giving attendees a whole weekend to get lost in the music. Unlike your typical music festival, this is designed to be a more intimate event, with the venue only holding about 1,500 people. In other words, you’ll want to hurry fast if you’re interested in going!
Dive into all the details of Montreux Jazz Festival Miami below:
The 2026 lineup
This year’s lineup features a mix of jazz, funk, pop-rock legends and Latin rhythms. Expect a high-energy celebration on Friday (Feb. 27) with headliners Jon Batiste and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue bringing the sounds of New Orleans jazz.
On Saturday (Feb. 28), “Legends of Groove” Nile Rodgers & CHIC and TOTO will take over the evening, in addition to Adi Oasis.
Colombian electro-tropical sounds and Afro-Cuban percussion await on the final day of the festival, Sunday (March 1), with Bomba Estéreo and Pedrito Martinez.
True to the Montreux tradition, performances often don’t end when the setlist does. The festival is famous for its “after-hours” jam sessions where headliners and surprise guests improvise together late into the night!
