Zakarian, who has garnered fame through Food Network shows Chopped and the Emmy-nominated The Kitchen, in addition to being an Iron Chef on Iron Chef America, will also manage all food, beverage, and hospitality services through his company, Zakarian Hospitality, for Halcyon, the project’s office tower.
Halcyon will be 11-story office building connected to the Central Hotel offering 125,000 square feet of Class A office space. In July, ARK Invest, a leading global investment firm known for its focus on disruptive innovation, announced it would relocate to the Halcyon office building.
Zakarian Hospitality will also manage all food & beverage operations at the Central Hotel including a planned rooftop pool bar and jazz lounge, banquets, catering, and curated culinary experiences designed for hotel guests and office tenants. Â
Casey Ellison, CEO of Ellison Development, called Zakarian’s involvement a defining moment for The Central’s vision.
