DeSantis to speak in Davie ahead of Florida legislative session – NBC 6 South Florida

Ahead of the 2026 Florida legislative session, Gov. Ron DeSantis will be holding a press conference in Davie on Monday.

The press conference will be at Broward College – A. Hugh Adams Central Campus at 10 a.m., where DeSantis will be joined by Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia and  Insurance Commissioner Mike Yaworsky.

Details on what they will be discussing were not released.

The Florida legislative session will start on Tuesday and will end on March 13.

Several hot-button topics that will be discussed during those two much, such as a proposed amendment to slash property taxes, redistricting and the state’s budget.
