Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said recent headlines surrounding Venezuela have not yet affected prices at the pump.
“While the situation in Venezuela has dominated headlines, it’s far too early for any measurable impact on what consumers are paying,” De Haan said. “For now, gas prices remain seasonally lower.”
