Located inside Ada’s Natural Market, Garden Goddess – or GG’s – is an all-natural café specializing in fresh juices, a deli and even Poke bowls. While the setting is a grocery store, the flavors at GG’s are beyond basic. You can start your day with one of the brunch offerings, like GG’s Avo toast on wheat berry bread with two organic free-range eggs and chipotle aioli. Smoothie bowls are also popular in the middle of the day. GG’s signature Mermaid Majik Bowl contains strawberry, blueberry, green apple, coconut shavings, granola and honey for $13.99. Poke tuna and salmon bowls are $17.00, while a ramen chicken bowl featuring miso broth, fresh shredded chicken, carrots, bean sprouts and ramen noodles is $16.00. GG’s is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Aqua blue and lime green chairs, paired with ocean and grass-colored walls, set the scene for this “chill café,” featuring organic wraps, salads, and raw, cold-pressed juices. Less traditional breakfast omelets and acai bowls highlight the breakfast menu, where a hearty omelet choice called The Mediterranean is served stuffed with sundried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, Feta, onion, oregano and spinach. Living Vine Organic Café is an independent, family-owned business, focusing on Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food offerings. Along with their food items, this café creates handcrafted drinks like their newish chocolate-mint protein shake that debuted in November. Additionally, Living Vine offers organic, vegan and gluten-free donuts, as well as an organic assorted cheese plate, featuring grass-fed Monterey Jack and raw smoked cheddar cheese. Living Vine Organic Café is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Sunday.

The juice and tea drinks at Amazing Healthy Spot are so colorful and bubbly that it is hard to look past these beverages to the food menu! Their Refreshers drink menu offers blends that give an energy boost without an energy crash. These bright chilled beverages contain aloe vera, herbal tea, B vitamins, ginseng and collagen. Protein coffee lattes are another nutritious drink creation, which blends whey protein with instant coffee and creamer. Everywhere I look in this new year, protein is trending. At Amazing Healthy Spot, stacked waffles with added protein, strawberries, blueberries and caramel drizzle are one of the most popular menu items. The drinks and food items here can be enriched with add-ons like peanut butter, kiwi or freshly sliced bananas. While the drink menu is colorful and complex, looking forward to the food menu highlighted by protein waffles, protein cheesecake and protein balls is worth the effort. While the hours can vary, the location on Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers is generally open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
