Old Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart to close for boat show, affecting traffic until Monday

STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — The Old Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart will be closed for multiple days starting Tuesday at 6 a.m.

According to police with the Stuart Police Department, the roadway on Dixie Highway will be closed from SW Albany Ave. to NW Poinsettia Street.

The bridge is closed due to preparation for the annual Stuart Boat Show, and will remain closed until Monday.

Police urge motorists who regularly take the Old Roosevelt Bridge to seek alternate routes and allow extra time for commutes.
