TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A former Tallahassee man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for child exploitation crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Gabriel Michael Stoelzel, 26, received his sentence for attempting to entice or persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity, distribution of child pornography and receipt of child pornography after pleading guilty in September.

Court records show that, while living in Tallahassee, Stoelzel uploaded child pornography to social media servers. Records also revealed he had been communicating with users, some as young as 14, to convince them to meet for sex.
Stoelzel’s prison sentence will be followed by a life-long supervised release. If he violates any conditions of that supervision, he could face additional prison time, the U.S Attorney’s Office said.
