A cargo plane stopped its departure from Miami International Airport on Thursday after reports of smoke in the aircraft, officials said.
The Atlas Air Cargo plane was taxiing for departure to Rio de Janeiro but never left, MIA officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to reports of smoke in the aircraft and said there were no reported injuries.
An investigation was ongoing.
