TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Dry weather will stick around on Tuesday, but our next weather system is looming for midweek.
Tonight Through Tuesday Night 🥶
Our winter chill will continue for Monday night. Low temperatures bottom out in the upper-20s and low-30s under a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky.
A nice Tuesday is on tap across the Big Bend and South Georgia. We remain dry, and we should see a little more sunshine. Temperatures top out in the low-60s.
Clouds are set to increase for Tuesday night as our next weather system approaches. Overnight lows settle in the upper-30s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
Our Next Cold Front
Another cold front will sweep across the Big Bend and South Georgia for midweek. Spotty showers are possible on Wednesday with this system. Highs reach the low-60s, and lows dip into the upper-30s.
Behind this front, we may see the coldest air so far this season. Temperatures on Thursday only hover in the upper-40s and low-50s under some sunshine. We are also tracking some gusty winds on Thursday.
A heads up, Thursday night is looking frigid. Low temperatures are looking to tumble into the mid-20s across the region.
Extended Forecast
After frigid weather to start your Friday, we are looking dry and sunny for the afternoon. Temperatures hover in the low-50s, with lows in the low-30s.
Looking ahead, we may see another weather system by next weekend. However, models are not in great agreement at this point.
A few showers are possible for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper-50s and low-60s. Overnight lows settle in the mid-to-low-30s.
