The city of Sanibel recently reminded homeowners and businesses that holiday decorations, lighting and displays which are clearly incidental, customary and commonly associated with any national, local or religious holiday were only permitted through Jan. 9, per the city’s ordinances. Effective Jan. 10, all holiday decorations, lighting and displays which are clearly incidental, customary and commonly associated with any national, local or religious holiday are not permitted.
