TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Four people from Texas have been arrested for a string of burglaries targeting North Florida Family Dollar stores, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
TPD detectives were notified on Monday by Pensacola Police of the burglary spree.
The use of License Plate Reader technology and shared intelligence allowed detectives to determine the suspects had come into Tallahassee, TPD said.
Officers partnered with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Real Time Crime Center, and were able to see the suspects cut power to and attempt to burglarize a Family Dollar.
