Last month’s Lunch & Learn was such a success, it’s officially back for round two.

For the January edition of the Citizen Science Project Lunch & Learn, organizer Rumya Sundaram will present Part Two of “Beyond the Usual Suspects: 20 Animals You Didn’t Know Existed.”

Over the years, Sundaram has earned a Master of Professional Science in Fisheries Management and Conservation, a Master of Science and Policy and bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Studio Art.

Now, Key Biscayne will get to keep learning from her collection of expert insights.

The Lunch & Learn, which is catered by Milanezza, will take place at noon, on Jan. 15, at the Key Biscayne Community Center’s Island Room. It is free for KBCC Members and $10 for Non-Members.

The Key Biscayne Community Foundation created the Citizen Science Program to educate the public with meaningful community programming.

The Citizen Science Project’s mission is to protect the natural resources on Key Biscayne and Virginia Key, educate the public about environmental issues, and provide hands-on opportunities to protect local ecosystems.

RSVP is required! Visit the KBCC front desk or call (305) 365-8900 to register or for questions.
