Carducci replaces Haley Carter, who left Orlando in November. Carducci spent last season with the Kansas City Current in the same role, reaching the NWSL Final.
“This club is a special club. It is a successful club. It is a championship club,” Carducci said at her introductory press conference. “It is really just the honor of a lifetime to have the opportunity to continue to lead a club with such a strong foundation.”
“She knows her stuff. That’s really the bottom line,” Orlando Pride owner Mark Wilf said. “But it’s also the way she kind of presents, the way that she wants to build things collaboratively. She understands the game.”
Carducci comes to Orlando with the expectation of continuing the success the club has had and winning championships.
“This is a club that’s ready to compete right now,” Carducci said. “This is not a club that’s lacked success of recent years. It’s built a very strong foundation winning the double in 2024 (the NWSL Final and the best regular-season record), getting all the way to the semifinals last year. So really what you’re looking at is a team that’s ready to compete right now.”
The Orlando Pride opens training camp next week ahead of the 2026 season.
