ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays are gearing up for their return to Tropicana Field this April. Before the first pitch is thrown, the team is inviting fans to a massive block party on Valentine’s Day.

The 2026 Fan Fest Block Party, presented by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will take place outside the stadium along 16th Street South as crews continue essential renovations and repairs inside the ballpark.

While admission is free, fans must claim a mobile ticket online to attend.

New ‘SkyDeck’ and Stadium Upgrades

As the team prepares for Opening Day, officials unveiled details about the new MaintenX SkyDeck. Situated above left field, this social space offers an all-inclusive experience with ballpark food, beer, wine, and soft drinks starting at $49.

The redesigned area features graphics paying tribute to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and integrates with the stadium’s LED lighting system for a full in-game experience. Tickets for the SkyDeck are already on sale.

“The Fan Fest Block Party is our first chance of the year to bring fans together and reconnect with the team ahead of the upcoming season, and we’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to Tropicana Field in April,” said Rays CEO Ken Babby. “Last season taught us a lot, and one key takeaway was how much our fans value social, all-inclusive spaces.”

Event Details and Logistics

The block party will feature a variety of activities, including player autograph signings, a panel with team leadership, and mascot appearances. A community charity yard sale will offer game-used merchandise—such as jerseys, helmets, and bats—along with discounted bobbleheads and mystery autographed baseballs.
