BERLIN — Forward Franz Wagner does not appear on the Magic’s official NBA injury report for Thursday’s NBA Berlin Game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
That likely means both Wagner brothers and fellow German Tristan da Silva will all be available to play in the NBA’s global game in the Wagners’ hometown of Berlin.

That would make the Magic’s three German players — Franz and Moe Wagner and Tristan da Silva — available for the game
Jalen Suggs remains out for Orlando, and guard Ja Morant is among the Memphis players listed as out
It marks the first time since Franz Wagner sustained a high ankle sprain in a game against the New York Knicks on Dec. 7 that he has not been listed as out on Orlando’s injury report. Wagner, who was Orlando’s scoring leader at the time he was hurt, was injured when he was going up for a dunk on a lob pass from guard Anthony Black when Knicks center Ariel Hukporti fouled Wagner hard with 4 minutes, 43 seconds remaining in the first period.
Wagner appeared to land awkwardly on his left leg, immediately grabbed at the area below his knee and remained on the ground. He needed help getting off the court.
Moe Wagner returned from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament in Orlando’s game Sunday, Jan. 11, against the New Orleans Pelicans, playing limited minutes in his first game since he was injured Dec. 21, 2024.
The Magic still will be without starting guard Jalen Suggs, who remains out with a medial collateral ligament injury to his right knee. He went out Jan. 2, in just his second game back after coming back from a hip contusion sustained Dec. 13 in an NBA Cup game against the New York Knicks. Suggs is the only regular-roster player on the injured list for Orlando.
The Memphis Grizzlies’ injury report indicates guard Ja Morant, who has been mentioned in recent possible trade reports, will remain out with a right calf contusion. Also on the injured list for Memphis are center Zach Edey with a stress reaction in his left ankle, power forward Brandon Clarke with a right calf strain, guard Ty Jerome with a right calf strain and guard Scotty Pippen Jr., who is recovering from surgery on his left great toe.
The matchup also will mark the first time the teams have played since they completed a trade that brought guard Desmond Bane to Orlando for guards Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cole Anthony, plus four first-round draft picks and a pick swap. Anthony was later traded to the Milwaukee Bucks by Memphis.
The NBA Berlin Game is part of an international series designed to bring the league to fans throughout Europe. The Magic and Grizzlies will play another game Sunday in London.
