One person died after they were shot on Florida’s Turnpike near Miami Gardens on Sunday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
It happened at about 7:35 p.m. in the northbound lanes.
Shots were fired between a black Cadillac SUV and a silver Hyundai, leaving one occupant dead, FHP said.
Information on the victim was not immediately released, nor what may have led to the gunfire.
Authorities said the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike were closed for about six hours.
