
On Monday, January 12, 2026, at 12:06 AM, officers with the Cape Coral Police Department responded to 1540 Andalusia Blvd, 7-Eleven Convenience Store in Cape Coral, Florida, in reference to an Armed Robbery in progress where a male brandished a handgun, grabbed cash, and fled. Based on the circumstances, the Violent Crimes Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.
During the investigation, a white four-door Chevrolet Malibu was identified as being involved in the robbery and potential suspects were developed. Â
On Friday, January 15, 2026, a search warrant was executed at the residence that the vehicle resides at in Cape Coral. A traffic stop was conducted on the Chevrolet Malibu and the driver, and sole occupant, was identified as Yoise Ernesto Cintra Maymir, a White male born on September 16, 1996. He was subsequently arrested for possession of cocaine (crack cocaine) and had a gun in his waistband that was similar to the one used in the robbery at 7-Eleven.Â
Located in the home during the search warrant were several clothing items that were similar to the ones worn by the suspect during the robbery. Â
Yoise Ernesto Cintra Maymir, a White male born on September 16, 1996 was additionally charged with Robbery with a Firearm.
Vicente Gonzalez, a White male, born on October 20, 1974 was also arrested and charged with Robbery with a Firearm.
