2 armed robbery suspects arrested by Cape Coral police following 7-Eleven investigation

The Cape Coral Police Department announced that they arrested two men following an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on Andalusia Boulevard.CCPD says that on Jan. 12, a male brandished a handgun, grabbed cash, and fled. They add that they identified a white four-door Chevrolet Malibu that was involved in the robbery.CCPD says that on Friday, a search warrant was executed at the residence where the vehicle resides. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested the driver, Yoise Ernesto Cintra Maymir, 29, for possession of cocaine. They say that Maymir had a gun in his waistband similar to the one used in the robbery.At the home where the search warrant was executed, officers say they found clothes similar to the ones worn by the suspect during the robbery.Officers also arrested Vicente Gonzalez, 51, on charges of robbery with a firearm.
