Localtopia returns to Williams Park on February 14, spotlighting more than 300 local businesses and organizations.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — To celebrate “all things local,” Localtopia will return for the 13th time to Williams Park in downtown St. Pete on Feb. 14.

Localtopia, the annual event that touts being “St. Pete’s largest ‘Community Celebration of All Things Local'” will showcase more than 300 independent businesses and community organizations during Valentine’s Day weekend in downtown St. Pete.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the last couple of years, thousands of attendants have flocked to downtown St. Pete to meet, buy or just see the offerings of hundreds of local business owners and organizations.

The transformation of St. Pete’s downtown is remarkable, with chalk painting activities, people in costumes, delicious food and beverages for everyone to see or enjoy.

For many vendors, Localtopia represents an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit. Sam Gerth of Hamster G Designs, who operates his business from his garage, sees the event as a crucial platform for smaller enterprises, as he told 10 Tampa Bay News last year.

“It’s a great event, super well attended. So I think a lot of businesses, especially somebody my size, just doing something out of their garage.” Gerth explained, highlighting the event’s importance for emerging businesses.

Olivia Rogowska of More Living Ceramics told 10 Tampa Bay News during the 2025 Localtopia event that “This event is huge, it just brings so many locals to one spot.”

The annual event will take place at Williams Park on 330 2nd Avenue N., and the streets surrounding the park will be closed during the day of the event.

For parking, bus and trolley information, including details on their free bike valet service, see the information on Localtopia’s website.

Localtopia is presented by Keep Saint Petersburg Local, an independent business alliance in the city, according to the event’s website.
